I've never had professional photos taken before. What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?

Most of my clients tell me exactly the same thing! You don't need any modelling experience to have great dating photos. My approach is relaxed and conversational, so rather than standing in one spot and posing, we'll walk, chat and create natural moments together. I'll guide you throughout the shoot, meaning you'll never be left wondering what to do or where to look.

What happens before the shoot?

Every booking includes a complimentary 30-minute Google Meet consultation. We'll chat about your personality, interests, hobbies, dating goals and the type of impression you'd like your profile to make. Together we'll choose locations, discuss outfits and plan a gallery that feels varied, natural and true to you.

Where will we take the photos?

We'll choose locations that complement both your personality and the style we're aiming to create. Whether that's your favourite coffee shop, a quiet London street, a park or somewhere with a more editorial feel, I'll scout the locations beforehand so we can make the most of our time on the day.

What should I wear?

I'll provide guidance before the shoot to help you choose outfits that photograph well and reflect your personality. I usually recommend bringing a few different looks to create variety across your profile. If you'd like more in-depth styling support, I also offer an optional styling service in collaboration with a professional fashion stylist.

How many outfits should I bring?

I generally recommend bringing three to five outfits, depending on the length of your session. Mixing casual and smarter looks helps create a well-rounded profile and gives potential matches a better sense of who you are.

Which dating apps are these photos suitable for?

Your gallery will work across all major dating apps, including Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, Raya, Grindr and more. I'll help create a mix of images so you have plenty of variety to use wherever you're dating.

Can you help me choose which photos to use?

Absolutely. Selecting the right images is just as important as taking them. I'll help you narrow down your favourites and choose a balanced selection that works well together on your dating profile.

Can you help with my dating profile as well?

Yes. If you'd like, I can offer feedback on your photo order, prompts and bio to help ensure your profile feels cohesive and gives the best possible first impression.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

I'll let you know your expected turnaround time when you book. Every image is carefully selected and professionally edited, so I always prioritise quality over rushing the process.

Will you edit my photos?

Every image is professionally edited for colour, light and consistency while keeping you looking like you. My editing style is clean, modern and natural—I'll never over-retouch your appearance or make you look like someone you're not.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all. In fact, I'd rather you didn't! I'll direct you throughout the shoot using natural prompts and movement, so the focus is on creating relaxed, genuine expressions rather than stiff, traditional poses.

Can I bring someone with me?

Of course. If having a friend along helps you feel more relaxed, you're very welcome to bring someone with you. Just let me know beforehand so we can plan the session accordingly.

What happens if it rains?

British weather likes to keep us guessing! If the forecast looks particularly bad, we'll simply rearrange your shoot for another date at no extra cost. If it's just a light shower, we can often work around it and even use it creatively.

Why shouldn't I just ask a friend to take my photos?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with asking a friend - but a great dating profile is about much more than a few nice pictures. Before your shoot, we'll plan your locations, outfits and the types of images your profile needs. During the session, I'll guide you to create a varied gallery that feels natural and intentional, rather than a collection of random snapshots. The result is a profile that tells a story and gives people a genuine sense of who you are.
